Abstract

It is shown that length increase of bar from solid materials actually takes place in slight temperature changes and increases and is in proportion to distance changes among atoms. Harmonic oscillations don't cause changes in bar length. However, power retailing atoms to balance position drives to anharmonicity appearance which is described with cubic term in expression of potential energy.
