Abstract
This paper reports that nano-La0.7Pb0.3FeO3 powders can be used as a new type of gas-sensing material for detecting ethanol gas. La0.7Pb0.3FeO3 powders were prepared by the citric method. The powders were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), and XRD pattern showed that La0.7Pb0.3FeO3 was still perovskite phase with orthorhombic structure and its crystallite size is about 17 nm. The conductivity and gas sensitivity of La0.7Pb0.3FeO3-based sensor were investigated. The sensor exhibited high sensitivity and good selectivity towards ethanol gas.
