Abstract

Flake-like MoSe2 nanomaterials were successfully synthesized via a chemical reaction in the mixed medium of ethanol and water (Vethanol:Vwater = 1:7) at 70 °C using di-(2, 4, 4-trimethylpentyl) dithiophosphinic acid extractant as surface-modifying agent, home-made NaHSe as Se source, Na2MoO4·2H2O as Mo source and NH2OH·HCl as reducing agent. The MoSe2 samples were characterized with XRD, TEM and EDXS, respectively. The results indicated that the morphologies of MoSe2 could be controlled by the concentration of extractant in the system, and flake-like MoSe2 with a diameter of about 70 nm was obtained when the addition amount of extractant was 0.75 g·L− 1.
