Abstract

The focus of the present work is to produce high purity nanoparticles of aluminium nitride by wire explosion technique and investigate its microstructure and physicochemical behavior by certain physico-chemical diagnostic studies viz. X-ray diffraction, TEM, EDAX, FTIR and TG-DTA. The influence of processing parameters on wire explosion technique is studied in detail. Grain growth kinetics of microstructural evolution of nano aluminium nitride is discussed.
