Nanoclusters and nanostructures including isolated iron oxide nanoclusters, 5 nm iron oxide nanoclusters nanocuptured by NaCl and 10-20 nm iron oxide nanoclusters within nanoorganized template structures were synthesized. New nanostructure of iron oxide clusters based on alfa and gamma modification of iron oxide named by twin nanostructure was observed. Magnetic properties of nanostructures are considered in the frame thermodynamic model of the first and second order magnetic phase transitions. The decrease of Curie or Neel points and jumps of magnetization in these nanostructures are explained by the influence of nanocluster surface tension. Intercluster interactions and its changes appearing in nanostructures and determine magnetic properties of nanostructures depend on nanocluster surface tension as well. The first and second order magnetic phase transitions are studied with the help of mossbauer spectroscopy and magnetization measurements.
