Abstract
The dispersion of the tungsten nanopowder reduced from tungstic acid has been experimentally studied as a function of the preliminary mechanical treatment of the acid in a planetary mill. Due to increased activity of the milled precursor, the specific surface area of the recovered powder increased from 3.6 to 12.6 m2/g, which corresponds to the decrease in the average particle size from 86 to 25 nm.
