The review presents the current state of the art of researches of diamond-like carbon nanostructures (the so-called nano-diamonds, hyper-diamonds and various nano-diamond containing composites) studied by means of computational quantum theory and molecular dynamic methods. The atomic and electronic structures, chemical bonding, conditions of stability and physical-chemical properties of the diamond-like carbon nanomaterials, as well as the prospects of their applications are discussed.
