Abstract
We studied the interaction of sodium titanate nanotubes with biopolymers and were able to demonstrate that, at neutral pH, Na2TiO3 nanotubes did not adsorb DNA and poorly adsorbed proteins (adsorption was primarily governed by protein pI); however, these nanotubes appreciably inhibited enzymatic reactions.
