Abstract
The article represents an overview of work aimed on the creation of methods of obtaining of metallic and oxide nano-materials based on less-common elements (Nb, Òà, Re, Mo, W, Rare Earths) possessing a complex of controllable properties. The underlying concept is the preparation of powders by thermal destruction of precursor phases (single- and multi-metal oxohydroxide or oxoalkoxide compounds). The suggested technology allows obtaining nano-sized powders of refractory metals and alloys, simple and complex oxides, and their solid solutions, which are promising in application in nano- and micro-technology.
