Abstract

SnO2 micro-spheres(0.5_2 mm diameter),nano-flowers(petalsize:100–250nmdiameter; 500 nm_2 mm length)andnano-rods(3–6nmdiameter;10–30nmlength)weresynthesizedby hydrothermalroute.Thesampleswerecharacterizedbyfieldemissionscanningelectronmicroscopy (FE-SEM),transmissionelectronmicroscopy(TEM)andX-raydiffraction(XRD).Theinfluenceof precursor,hydrothermaltemperatureandtreatmenttimeontheformationofSnO2 multi-morphology was alsoinvestigated.Moreover,apossibleformationmechanismandrelationshipsamongmorphol- ogies werediscussed.
